One question - why road bikes?
Am not sure why. Supermotard with a decent seat for distance seems the most appropriate to me. I have not seen any though.
This chap is very proud of his 200cc ish race replica. Bearing in mind that the road surface is variable, the traffic is heavy & unpredictable; the clip-ons are in my opinion "brave".
